The goal of this comprehensive, two-day event was to approach the growing Zika virus threat in new ways, using outside-the-box thinking and technologies, and get the world closer to a solution for this debilitating threat.

For 48 hours, participants from around the world pitched ideas, formed cross-disciplinary teams, and, worked together to solve an issue that has consumed the Americas in recent months. In the end, participants produced 15 innovations, which you see details of in this event overview.

Organizers of the hack-a-thon provided us with a video of all the innovation and discovery that went on at MGH this month. We’re pleased to share it with you today. It is a great representation of the cutting-edge research and thinking that goes on within the Partners network every day.
