Today we’re proud to announce that five Partners HealthCare hospitals have been recognized for excellence by the annual U.S. News & World Report annual Honor Roll of America’s Best Hospitals. At the top of this prestigious list were Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) and Brigham and Women’s Hospital (BWH), with a 3rd and 13th ranking, respectively.

Another two of our network’s hospitals, McLean Hospital and the Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital, were also recognized for national excellence for their specialties. McLean was ranked second in the nation in psychiatry and Spaulding Rehabilitation was ranked fifth for rehabilitation.

U.S. News & World Report also ranks hospitals regionally to complement its national rankings. Three of our hospitals ranked in the top ten in the Boston area. MGH and BWH earned recognition as the #1 and #2 hospitals, respectively. North Shore Medical Center ranked #10 and was recognized as high performing in COPD, heart failure care, hip replacement and knee replacement.

“These rankings once again demonstrate how highly regarded Boston health care institutions are on the national scale,” said Dr. David Torchiana, President and CEO, Partners HealthCare.

“These rankings once again demonstrate how highly regarded Boston health care institutions are on the national scale,” said Dr. David Torchiana, President and CEO, Partners HealthCare. “Mass General and Brigham and Women’s ranked among the country’s best academic medical centers for the 24th year in a row.
